Joy in Winning

Few days back, the fallen hero, Lance Armstrong, appeared in a supposedly no hold barred, open interview with Oprah. Three hour long confessional interview, lacked emotions and came across as a gimmick rather then an admissions of a guilty sportsman. However, Lance said few things, which stuck with me -

- Winning should give joy. It should come with relentless pursuit and should be well earned. One should feel good after winning.

- One should not try too hard. Controlling the outcome all the time is not possible. However, giving best   and fair shot is!!
