Old Town / New Town

Few hours at Kolkata today were great. Got few hours for a quick trip to park street. And on my way back, through the new town, I was astonished, reminded me of the early days of Gurgaon. It didn't look anything like Kolkata of past. The driver told me it is new town, new Kolkata. He was very proud of it. He had no clue why this is happening or who is behind this change, politician with vested interest in land, FDI or serendipity. He was just happy that it looks like 'Foren'. Just like the movies.
